“After the competition, I received many great comments towards my idea. Due to all the positive responses, my interest in this project has increased. Considering all the research that has to be done, I think my first step to moving forward on this idea is talk to a gym owner. I plan on charting which machines are used the most, and which are likely to produce the most amount of energy. Then I would talk to my brother (my partner) and find out where to go from there.”
-Jill Wamhoff, Self-Sustaining Gym Next Bright Idea High School Winner
“My next steps with the Universal Job Application is to start building the website. I have done a lot of the pre-work already. I just want to put together a final product that will show employers why this is useful.”
